About Us


The University of Alabama Center for Economic Development (UACED) manages the Alabama Community Leadership Network (ACLN), an organization committed to building, supporting, and enhancing community leadership throughout Alabama. The ACLN brings expertise and valuable resources available throughout the state together to assist communities and organizations to develop, improve and sustain leadership development programs and community initiatives. Through the ACLN, we provide a diverse range of services to promote effective leadership principles including: opportunities for sharing best practices, provide educational materials, host training events and provide consultation to communities to assist with local community and economic development initiatives.
